Viola baseball team’s season ends in state semifinals

The Viola High School baseball team fell one win short of playing for another state championship. The Longhorns played in the semifinals of the Class 1A State Tournament Sunday at Taylor and suffered a 10-0 loss at the hands of Mount Ida. Viola ends the season with a record of 19-10.
