A few area high school golfers competed in an outing Thursday at Carroll County Country Club in Berryville.
Flippin won the boys’ side with a total of 257. Bergman finished second at 290. Cody Downs represented the Bobcats as the medalist with an 81, beating out teammate Tucker Thompson by three strokes. Bergman’s Kaden Ponder was third with an 88.
Flippin ended up second on the girls’ side with a team total of 403. Elkins beat out the Lady Bobcats by eight strokes. Flippin’s Igata Trubkova took the medalist honor with a 111.
