Baseball, softball and soccer make up the local Friday schedule.
In high school baseball, Cotter travels to Marshall, Gainesville makes the trip to Cabool, Salem hosts Mountain View, Izard County heads to Quitman, Lead Hill travels to Omaha, Ozark Mountain entertains Alpena, and Jasper is home against Hector.
Two area softball teams will be at the Equity Bank Sports Complex in Harrison for the first Ozarks Softball Classic of the season. Harrison meets Paragould at 5:30, and Melbourne faces Bentonville at 7:15.
Elsewhere on the softball schedule, Gainesville will compete in the Summit Conference Tournament at Mansfield, Salem will be in Jonesboro for the Blazer Blast Tournament hosted by Valley View, Lead Hill hosts Omaha, and Jasper entertains Hector.
In high school soccer, Harrison makes the trip to Farmington.
