A Harrison woman was killed, and a Harrison man was injured in a head-on collision in the city Monday afternoon. Thirty-year-old Leah Bieberich was pronounced dead, and 50-year-old Christopher Roberts was transported to North Arkansas Regional Medical Center.
According to the Harrison Police Department, Bieberich and Roberts were traveling in opposite directions on Arkansas Highway 43. Bieberich’s van reportedly crossed the center line struck Roberts’ vehicle head-on.
The weather was cloudy but the road was dry in the 12:40 p.m. accident.
