Cotter HS student, Brooks Cheek, awarded Governor’s Distinguished Scholarship

Cotter High School student Brooks Cheek was recently awarded the Governor’s Distinguished Scholarship, making him the ninth Cotter High School graduate to earn the award in the last four years.

The scholarship is the most academically rigorous program offered in the state. It is awarded to graduating high school seniors with a 3.50 unweighted cumulative GPA and a minimum composite or super score of 32 on the ACT or 1410 on the SAT.

The scholarship pays tuition, mandatory fees and room and board up to $10,000 per year.
