The high school golf season gets underway Monday with Mountain Home hosting one of the biggest tournaments in Arkansas. The Ultimate Auto Group High School Invitational begins its two-day run at Big Creek Golf and Country Club with over 100 athletes expected to compete.
The Bomber boys come into the season as last year’s Class 5A state runners-up and the defending 5A-West conference champions. Mountain Home’s girls finished third in the league and eighth in the state in 2023.
Mountain Home head coach Dell Leonard says he expects another good season from his teams this year.
