
The Mountain Home High School boys’ wrestling team began its postseason on Saturday by finishing fifth in the Class 5A North Regional Tournament at Searcy. Seven of the Bombers were able to qualify for state.
Zane Darracq was second in the 157-pound division, Stephen Sturgess ended up second in the 215, Calin Frounfelter took second place in the 285, Mason Shimmel finished third in the 138, Mario Alvarez was third in the 165, Mason Hill ended up third in the 175, and Seth King took fourth place in the 120.
The regional team title was captured by Van Buren.
