The postseason began Tuesday for three area high school girls’ basketball teams as they played their openers in the Class 2, District 10 Tournament at Fordland.
Bakersfield advanced to the semifinals as they squeaked by Hartville 45-43. The Lady Lions improve to 14-7 on the season.
Bakersfield’s next opponent on Thursday will be Fordland. Gainesville lost to the host Lady Eagles 47-25. The Lady Bulldogs’ season ends at 7-18.
Dora was one and done after falling to Mansfield 46-40. The Lady Falcons’ final record is 11-14.
