The Earle boys captured the final state championship of the high school basketball season in Arkansas. The Bulldogs got past Marked Tree for the Class 1A title Saturday in Hot Springs.
Taron Hurst was named the MVP after leading Earle with 20 points. Fellow Bulldog Antonius Dorsey grabbed 14 rebounds. Dawon Smith ended up with 13 points for the Indians, and Jonah Walker had 11 points and 10 boards.
Earle wraps up the year at 25-4, and Marked Tree falls to 28-7.
