ASUMH baseball team gets home victory over Northark

The ASU-Mountain Home baseball team was able to wrap up its three-game home stand with another win on Tuesday. The TrailBlazers used a five-run eighth inning to get past North Arkansas College 11-9 at Lester White Field at Cooper Park.

ASU-Mountain Home came up with 12 base hits during its comeback in the eighth. The TrailBlazers also had 13 stolen bases and 10 walks in the game.

Wyatt Winters was credited with the victory as he came on in relief for ASU-Mountain Home. Reece Bariola launched a two-run shot in the first inning and drove in another run later in the game, and Keenan Hunter went 3-for-4 at the plate and stole multiple bases.

The TrailBlazers improve to 20-9 on the season, and they’ll be in Camden on Thursday for the opener of a series with Southern Arkansas University-Tech.
