Tuesday results include Viola baseball team winning at Mammoth Spring

The Viola High School baseball team was able to pick up a win on the road on Tuesday. The Longhorns defeated Mammoth Spring 19-2.

Bakersfield was able to open its baseball season on a dominating note. The Lions routed Eminence by a final of 21-2.

Gainesville also came away with a road victory on the baseball diamond. The Bulldogs got past Reeds Spring 5-3.

Bakersfield also won its season opener in high school softball. The Lady Lions made the short trip to Gainesville and picked up the 5-2 victory.
