Young athletes in Mountain Home will have an exciting opportunity to hit the field this summer as the Mountain Home Parks & Recreation Department (MHPR) launches its Summer Coed Flag Football League for kids ages 5 to 15.
The league offers four age divisions – 6U, 8U, 12U, and 15U – with a registration fee of $30 per player. The deadline to sign up is May 30th at 4:30.
According to MHPR, the season will follow a structured timeline, beginning with a coaches-only draft on June 6th. Practices are scheduled from June 9th through July 27th, and games will take place from June 30th through July 31st.
Games will be held on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings, with Friday and Saturday availability if needed.
MHPR is also seeking volunteers to help make the season a success. Opportunities are available for coaches, referees, and division sponsors.
