
The Gassville City Council met Tuesday evening for a one-hour session, with Council Member Ralph Bird absent.
The council unanimously approved Ordinance 2025-02, which updates personal time policies in the city’s personnel handbook.
Council also held a second reading of Ordinance 2025-04, which adopts the state plumbing code and repeals conflicting local ordinanceslargely a housekeeping measure.
Sheila Wingard, a longtime business owner and new Gassville resident, was unanimously appointed to the Planning and Zoning Commission.
The council also heard the first reading of Ordinance 2025-05, addressing cemetery regulations. It will return for a second reading next month.
