Baseball and softball are included on the local Friday schedule.
The Mountain Home High School baseball team was scheduled to play at Fair Grove, Mo., but the game has been canceled.
The 2A-1 District Baseball Tournament will come to an end at the Equity Bank Sports Complex in Harrison. The semifinal games will start at 5 as Cotter faces Mountainburg on Pippin Field, and Ozark Mountain takes on Life Way Christian on Jack Williams Field. At 7:30, the championship game will be played on Jack Williams Field, and the third place game will be held on Pippin Field.
Elsewhere on the baseball schedule, Gainesville travels to Fordland.
The Mountain Home High School softball team will be at McClain Park for the final time this season. It’s Senior Night as the Lady Bombers welcome to Alma for another 5A-West outing. The varsity game starts at 5, and the junior varsity contest will follow.
Cotter’s softball team will return to the Equity Bank Sports Complex for the championship game of the 2A-1 District Tournament. It will be a battle between Lady Warriors as Cotter plays Life Way Christian at 6.
In other high school softball, Gainesville makes the trip to Conway, and Harrison hosts Van Buren.
