The Mountain Home High School soccer teams’ final home outing of the season ended on a successful note. The Bombers and Lady Bombers swept Alma for Senior Night on Friday.
Mountain Home’s girls began the evening by shutting out the Lady Airedales 3-0. The Lady Bombers improve to 10-7 on the season and 6-7 in the 5A-West.
The Mountain Home boys also held Alma scoreless with a 2-0 victory. The Bombers are now 3-9-6 overall and 2-7-3 in the league.
Elsewhere, Mountain View’s boys had a dominating win on their home turf. The Yellowjackets breezed past Buffalo Island Central 7-1.
Harrison ended up splitting with Van Buren. The Lady Goblins blanked the Lady Pointers 7-0. Harrison did not fare as well in the boys’ match as they fell to Van Buren 2-0.
