The Bombers split a doubleheader with Van Buren on senior night Tuesday at McClain Park, closing out their regular season.
Van Buren took the first game 6-2 behind a strong offensive showing. The Pointers jumped out to an early lead limiting Mountain Home’s scoring opportunities.
In the second game, the Bombers responded with a 4-1 win, led by a solid performance on the mound and timely hits. Mountain Home’s defense held Van Buren to a single run.
