The Mountain Home Public Schools Board of Education will meet Thursday evening at 6 in the Central Office Board Room. Prior to the meeting a reception for the school’s 2025 retirees will take place in Dunbar Auditorium starting at 3:45 with presentations beginning at 4.
The Richard Padget Extra Mile Award and Teacher of the year will be presented as well as the State Championship House of Representatives Resolutions, the All State Band and Choir and the Mountain Home High School (MHHS) Yearbook Staff.
Reports for academics, financials, enrollment, student transfers, facility projects and safety and security will be given throughout the meeting. An executive session will be held to discuss the personnel report.
A second reading of the 2025-26 handbooks and procedures will be discussed and board members will be recognized during the Superintendent’s Update.
Board action items will include requests to approve a budget adjustment, a request to purhcase bulk school supplies for the 2025-26 school year and approval requests for 2025-26 Canvas renewal, Bomber virtual agreements, renewal of GoGuardian for 2025-26, section 3 policy updates, section 8 policy updates and policy updates for sections 1, 5, 6 and 7.
