Rain shortened game ends in loss for MacLeod

In what was originally scheduled to be a double header with Bakersfield,  the Mountain Home American Legion MacLeod baseball team saw a loss at home in a game shortened by rain.

The game went six innings at Lester White Field with a final score of 12-8 for the visiting team. Grady Pitcock took the loss on the mound for MacLeod with Ty Cotter as the winning pitcher for Bakersfield.

MacLeod’s record stands at 3-2 for the season as they look to travel to North Central Thursday with game time scheduled for 5:30.
