Osteoporosis
Schliemann Center for Women Learning Session: Osteoporosis, Thursday July 10, 1pm, held at Schliemann Center 624 Hospital Drive. Osteoporosis is a common problem that causes your bones to become abnormally week and easily broken. Women are at a higher risk for osteoporosis after menopause due to lower levels of estrogen, a female hormone that helps to maintain bone mass. Fortunately preventive treatments are available that can help to maintain or increase your bone density. Speaker is Cheyenne Morgan, PAI Baxter Health Bone & Joint Clinic. Registration required, call 870-508-2345.
