Three A-State Golfers Named All-America Scholars

Three members of the 2024-25 Arkansas State men’s golf team were named Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA), the organization announced Tuesday.Jake Lile, Jack Maxey and Milan Reed earned the academic honor, marking the ninth consecutive season Arkansas State has had multiple golfers recognized.

The trio is part of a national list that includes 556 NCAA Division I student-athletes from 190 schools.

To qualify for the Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar recognition, student-athletes must be sophomores, juniors or seniors both academically and athletically, have played in at least 50 percent of their team’s competitive rounds, maintain a stroke average under 76.0, and carry a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher.
