The efforts of Disabled Americans Veterans Auxiliary Chapter 30 in Baxter County to battle the high rate of veteran suicide has led to the group being recognized at the state level for their accomplishments.
On June 7 the auxiliary was named the ‘Arkansas Auxiliary Unit of Excellence’ as well as receiving recognition for ‘Community Service’ and ‘Legislative Action in support of Veterans’ at the 2025 State Convention of Disabled American Veterans and their Auxiliaries in Little Rock.
Dan Hall who serves as Commander of the Auxiliary and has also served in many community roles through the years sits down with Sammy Raycraft to discuss accomplishments of the group as well as what the future looks like as the fight continues.
