On this episode of Talk of the Town host Adam Rogers welcomes two guests from the Baxter County Historical and Genealogical Society. New Vice President Tink Albright joins the conversation along with Member at Large Sonny Sharp to preview the Society’s January meeting and featured guest speaker, Cindy Wood Young.
Young will be sharing stories from her new book, Growing Up Flippin, a heartfelt and humorous collection of writings and articles drawn from her life and years of storytelling.
Plus, Albright and Sharp offer an update on the Historical Museum and give listeners a look ahead at what’s shaping up to be an exciting 2026 for the Society.
The regular monthly meetings of the Society take place on the 4th Tuesday of each month, at 6:00 p.m. in the Knox Room of the Donald W. Reynolds Library Serving Baxter County.
