A beloved Main Street tradition blending nostalgia, community spirit, and Christmas storytelling returns as Calico Rock hosts its annual Living Windows event. Bambi Bowden, Executive Director of the Calico Rock Museum and a member of the Main Street Calico Rock Board, joins host Adam Rogers to share what makes this holiday experience so special.
On Saturday, dozens of downtown storefronts will come to life from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., transforming into living, life-size Christmas displays. Each window features local participants reenacting holiday memories, cherished traditions, and personal stories. Organizers describe the event as “stepping inside a Christmas card,” complete with festive music, twinkling lights, and the small-town charm Calico Rock is known for.
