It’s always a pleasure to welcome Heather Pitman, Facility Manager at the Fred Berry Crooked Creek Nature Center, back to Talk of the Town! Heather joins host Adam Rogers to share what’s shaping up to be an exciting February at the Nature Center. From stargazing under the winter sky to learning about one of Arkansas’s most iconic wild residents, there’s something for everyone. On February 9, local Master Naturalists will lead a Night Sky Program, guiding visitors through a telescope-assisted stargazing experience in a truly perfect setting. On February 19, AGFC biologist Allen Cathey stops by with an engaging and informative program all about Arkansas bears. Rounding out the month, the Nature Center will host an in-person, all-day Hunter Education class on February 28. Don’t miss this great conversation and a full lineup of opportunities to connect with the outdoors!
