The Salvation Army in Mountain Home is gearing up for its annual Thanksgiving community meal, and this year marks a meaningful return to tradition. For the first time since before the COVID-19 pandemic, the organization will once again offer a sit-down dinner, ending several years of drive-through service. Majors John and Michelle join host Adam Rogers to share their excitement about welcoming guests back inside and reconnecting face-to-face.
The Thanksgiving gathering is designed to be a welcoming place for neighbors, friends, and anyone without family close by—a chance to slow down, share a meal, and enjoy true holiday fellowship.
The community meal will be served from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Salvation Army’s youth building, located at 121 Highway 201 North, between the church and the family thrift store.
