Join us for a special teacher’s night out – at the library. Register to come to the Baxter County Library March 20th, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
While enjoying a taco bar; Amy Johnson, the Youth Services Librarian and a former teacher, will share about the library’s digital resources that may be helpful in your classroom. Followed by professional development for teaching about the Holocaust from the US Holocaust Memorial Museum including best practices for teaching about it and how to tie the exhibit into your classroom curriculum. We will also show you how to find lesson plans and resources for the classroom from the USHMM that can help you meet required Holocaust curriculum needs in your future lesson plans.
A guided tour of the Americans and the Holocaust Traveling Exhibit will follow.
