Two charged, one at large in connection with meth distribution

     Two people have been arrested and one is at large in separate cases involving the sale of methamphetamine to confidential informants.
     According to Izard County Sheriff Tate Lawrence, Jessie J. Carroll of Calico Rock was charged with selling methamphetamine to an informant near Calico Rock Schools. Sell near certain facilities, including public schools, carries an enhanced penalty.
     In a separate incident, 49-year-old Teresa Ann Lawrence is charged with a class B felony after she sold methamphetamine to an informant. She was released after she posted $20,000 cash bond. She is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.
     Another separate incident involves a man who is charged but has yet to be arrested. 23-year-old Cory Daniel Bennett of Melbourne is wanted after he delivered meth to an informant on two separate occasions. The sales were near, but not on the campus of Ozarka College. The sales also involved prescription pills, hydrocodone and diazepam. Bennett faces four felonies, two pertaining to the location of the deliveries.
