RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) _ After a day off, Usain Bolt returns to the track today in

his quest for more gold _ in his favorite event, too: the 200 meters.

Also Tuesday, American Christian Taylor will defend his triple jump title. The

competition begins at 9:50 a.m.

Jamaican Omar McLeod from the University of Arkansas and American Devon Allen,

the University of Oregon football/track standout, square off in the 110-meter

hurdles. McLeod ran a qualifying heat yesterday in the rain of 13.27 seconds,

winning the heat easily.

Medals also will be awarded in women’s discus, the women’s 1500 meters and the

men’s high jump.
