When Savvy Shields was crowned Miss America the title of Miss Arkansas was given to the first runner up in the Miss Arkansas Scholarship Pageant. The new Miss Arkansas is Savannah Skidmore of Calico Rock. The 21-year-old is a senior at the University of Arkansas majoring in broadcast journalism.
Savannah is the daughter of Jerry and Kim Skidmore and granddaughter of Duane and Sue Price and Robert and Marion Skidmore, all of Calico Rock.
