FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) _ Arkansas put its early season struggles under coach
Bret Bielema behind it with a double-overtime victory over TCU last week.
Now the No. 24 Razorbacks (2-0), winners of eight of their last nine games, are
looking ahead for a change. They host Texas State (1-0) this weekend.
Arkansas opened last season 2-4, including a loss to Toledo, before closing by
winning six of its last seven.
This season, the Razorbacks stressed the importance of a fast start for much of
the preseason. They followed that up with the 41-38 win over the Horned Frogs,
with junior quarterback Austin Allen enjoying a coming-out performance that
featured three touchdowns passes and the game-winning touchdown run.
