Basketball and bowling make up the local Monday schedule.
The Mountain Home High School bowling teams will be on the road as they meet Jonesboro. Action begins at four p.m. at the Jonesboro Bowling Center.
Elsewhere, Norfork travels to Bull Shoals to take on Flippin.
In high school basketball, Yellville-Summit hosts Berryville, Bakersfield’s girls make the trip to Thayer, the Melbourne boys entertain Walnut Ridge, and St. Joe heads to Mount Judea.
On the junior varsity level, Gainesville’s boys are set to compete this week in the Norwood J.V. Tournament.
Mountain Home’s three junior high girls’ basketball teams will be in front of the home crowd as they face Greene County Tech. The seventh grade game tips off at 4:00 followed by the eighth grade and freshmen contests.
Mountain Home will also play three junior high boys’ games against Tech, but the games will be in Paragould. The seventh grade game begins at 4:00, and the eighth grade and freshmen contests will follow.
Also on the junior high level, Norfork travels to Calico Rock, Viola makes the short trip to Salem, Marshall heads to Mountain View, Omaha travels to Alpena, and Western Grove is home against Jasper.
