Vivians' 17 points helps No. 5 Mississippi State down UALR

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) _ Victoria Vivians scored 17 points as No. 5 Mississippi

State pulled away in the fourth quarter for a 58-44 victory over Arkansas-Little

Rock on Tuesday night.



The win keeps the Bulldogs (10-0) undefeated and is the 100th of coach Vic

Schaefer’s career, making him only the second in school history to reach the

century mark in victories.



Mississippi State trailed by as many as five points in the first half before

leading 38-34 after three quarters. The Bulldogs then pulled away in the fourth,

with Vivians scoring 10 points in the quarter.



Blair Schaefer matched her career high with 12 points for Mississippi State,

while Morgan William finished with 10.



Ronjanae DeGray led the Trojans (5-5) with 18 points and was 7 of 7 from the

field, while Sharde’ Collins had 11 points.
