Farmers, ranchers, and other agricultural producers who need to renew an expiring pesticide license or receive a first time private pesticide applicator license can receive the required training Thursday evening at the Baxter County Fairgrounds Educational Building starting at six.

The Pesticide Applicator Training is a two-hour course to recertify Arkansas agricultural producers who wish to purchase and apply Restricted Use Pesticides.

The training costs $10 per person and costs an additional $10 fee for a one year license, or $45 for a five year license. Participants will pay the training cost in person at the training and the license fees will be mailed to the State Plant Board after the training.
