An accident in Webster County, involving four vehicles, has killed 47-year-old Leo Walker and 48-year-old Tisha Briggs, both of West Plains. They were pronounced dead on the scene.

According to a report from Missouri State Trooper C.A. Stallcup, Walker and Briggs were stopped at a red light, on U.S. 60 at West Clinton in Seymour, behind a conventional freightliner.

Another frightliner, driven by 33-year-old Adam Housley of Mountain Grove, struck their vehicle from behind, pushing it into the freightliner ahead of them. Debris from the crash struck a fourth vehicle. That vehicle was driven from the scene with minor damage.

The freightliner, which crashed into Walker and Briggs as well as their vehicle, was totalled.

Briggs was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the 3:10 p.m. accident. Walker was not.

Trooper Stallcup was assisted on the scene by multiple law enforcement officers.
