JENNINGS, Mo. (AP) – St. Louis County police are investigating a shooting that killed one man and left another badly injured.
Police Sgt. Shawn McGuire says the shooting happened Friday night on the parking lot of an Aldi’s store in the Jennings area. Police found a 27-year-old man lying on the pavement dead. A 28-year-old man was shot in the torso.
The surviving victim told police they were sitting in a vehicle when suspects attacked them and stole their vehicle. The stolen car was recovered a short time later, but no arrests have been made.
Names of the victims have not been released.
