Donald W. Reynold's Library to host Backderf

     John Backderf, a famous American cartoonist, known for his international best seller "My Friend Dahmer", will visit the Donald W. Reynolds Library via a video chat Tuesday evening from 5 to 6.
     "My Friend Dahmer" is an original graphic novel about Dahamer, who is a shy, teenage alcohoic who didn't fit in with his peers. Dahmer is seen by the public as a monster who committed gruesome murders. However, to Derf Backderf, "Jeff" was a high school friend who he shared hallways, classrooms, and car rides with. The graphic novel is schudeuled to become a movie later this year.
     This program is part of he Literary Series sponsored by the Friends of the Baxter County Library and is free with no registration required.
