A Missouri public school administrator was selected to be the superintendent of a local school district. The Harrison Board of Education voted Thursday to enter into contract negotiations with Willard assistant superintendent Dr. Stewart Pratt.
According to the Harrison Daily Times, the board was in executive session for over an hour and a half before they voted unanimously for Dr. Pratt to succeed current superintendent Dr. Mendy Moss. He has been with the Willard R-II School District for the last ten years. Pratt was the high school principal for the first five years and the assistant superintendent during the last five.
Dr. Moss was selected as the next superintendent of the Joplin R-VIII School District in November. She has been at Harrison since 2007.
