MH girls’ soccer team wins conference opener, clinches state bid

The Mountain Home High School girls’ soccer team was able to dominate their opening round game in the 6A-East Conference Tournament at Bomber Stadium. The Lady Bombers shut out Jacksonville 12-0 Monday to clinch a state tournament bid.

Grace Beckham led Mountain Home with two goals and an assist; Kelsey Pinn scored two goals; Amber Bill provided a goal and dished out an assist; one goal each was scored by Sarah Swonger, Sabra Wickersham, Mackayla Medley, Lexi Coroch, Hannah Strider, Hope Menendez and Lauren Helmert; Chloe Nosari and Irati Saez each had two assists; and Bailey Womack added an assist.

The Lady Bombers improve to 11-5-1 on the season. Jacksonville finishes at 0-10.
