A one-vehicle accident in Ozark County resulted in the death of a Baxter County woman and injuries to two other area residents including a five-year-old girl. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 34-year-old Robyn Carlisle of Midway was pronounced dead Monday morning by Ozark County Coroner Shane Ledbetter at the scene four miles south of Zanoni.

Carlisle was the driver of an SUV traveling northbound on Missouri Route FF when her vehicle traveled off the right side of the road, overcorrected, traveled off the left side of the road and struck a tree. Twenty-two-year-old Nikki Collins, a passenger in the SUV, was transported by a helicopter to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield where a hospital spokesperson says she remains a patient. The other passenger, five-year-old Harlow Carlisle of Gainesville, was transported by a private vehicle to Baxter Regional Medical Center with minor injuries, and a hospital spokesperson says she was treated and released.

The vehicle was totaled in the 9:20 a.m. accident.
