A Mountain Home man, 22-year-old Micael Bolton, has been charged with aggravated assault after an argument.

Mountain Home Police Chief Carry Manuel says Friday morning about 10:22 officers were dispatched to a disturbance at a residence on Bomber Boulevard.

On arrival, officers located two individuals arguing over money owed Bolton for work he performed. Officers learned there had been communication between the two and the complainant told Bolton to stop by and pick up the money.

Upon arriving at the residence, an argument ensued between Bolton and the complainant, with Bolton allegedly threatening the complainant by pointing a pistol at him.

Bolton provided an investigator with a statement that he pointed the pistol at the complainant in a threatening manner during the argument.

Bolton was taken to the Baxter County Detention Center with bond set at $5,000 and released later on Friday.
