Authorities searching for missing area teen

Marion County authorities are searching for a teen, Sarah Jean Schalla, that has been reported missing from Flippin since Saturday. A spokesperson from the Marion County Sheriff’s Department says investigating officers are following up on potential leads.Schalla’s aunt, Nicole Roux, says the teen was last seen Saturday in the late evening. The aunt suspects she may have been trying to get to Tulsa, Oklahoma, or Wichita, Kansas.

Schalla is described as approximately 5-foot-five inches tall and weighing 140 pounds. She has blonde hair, brown eyes and wears black rimmed glasses.

She has made no contact with her family or friends since Saturday evening.

The family has information she may have left the residence willingly, however they are concerned because she has been accessing dangerous chat websites and may have unknowingly left to meet a stranger.

Authorities are looking for a person of interest, named Dee Dee, who is approximately 22 and is also missing. She is a single mother and her children were left behind. The family cannot confirm the two are together.
