Dora woman arrested after foot pursuit

A Dora woman, 32-year-old Geneva Lynn Liveley, was arrested by Mountain Home Police early Sunday morning after a short foot pursuit. She was eventually arrested on felony charges of possession of a controlled substance and simultaneous possession of a firearm. She was released from the Baxter County Jail on a $5,000 bond later that day.

According to the arrest affidavit, at approximately 3:30 Sunday morning officers were dispatched to the east side of Mountain Home for a possible intoxicated driver. The vehicle was located, and when officers attempted to pull it over, the driver, identified as Liveley, refused to stop. When the vehicle finally did stop, she fled on foot. After a short pursuit, she was found and taken into custody.

After being asked why she fled, Liveley allegedly stated she had been drinking. During an inventory of her vehicle, numerous prescription medications, belonging to different people were found, including Hydrocodone, a schedule two controlled substance. A loaded revolver, drug paraphernalia, and $1,110 in cash were also found, as well as a name tag belonging to Liveley.

In addition to the felony charges, she faces other misdemeanor charges and is scheduled to appear in Baxter County Circuit Court.
