SPRINFGFIELD, Mo. (AP) The Greene County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a child at an in-home day care.
The sheriff said in a news release Thursday that emergency responders were called to the home because a child was unresponsive and not breathing.
The child was pronounced dead after being taken to a Springfield hospital.
The day care facility has suspended operations until the investigation is complete.
No other details were immediately released.
