Nearly ten days after being named the athletic director at North Arkansas College, Bobby Howard will take on an additional role for the 2017-2018 academic year. The Pioneers’ A.D. and head baseball coach will also serve as the interim head women’s basketball coach at the Harrison school.
Howard began his third stint at Northark last year after serving as interim head coach for the last eight baseball games of the 2016 season, and he was given the full-time position last June. He added the title of athletic director to his resume earlier this month. Howard rejoined Northark after spending one year as the boys’ and girls’ basketball coach at Bruno-Pyatt.
Howard succeeds Stacie Klott who resigned as women’s basketball coach and athletic director at the end of July to spend more time with her family.
