The Friends of the North Fork and White Rivers will team up with the Buffalo National River Partners for a presentation featuring a local artist. The presentation titled “Connecting Our Ozark Streams” with plein artist Duane Hada is scheduled for Tuesday evening at the Boone County Library on West Stephenson Avenue in Harrison.

The evening will begin with a reception at 5:00 p.m., and the presentation will begin a half hour later. In addition, Hada’s art is being displayed in the library’s mezzazine this month.

Hada has spent most of his life on the local streams learning, fly fishing, guiding and capturing different sights of the Twin Lakes Area with his watercolors. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, and he also has certification from the Federation of Fly Fishers as an instructor. Hada has taught numerous courses and workshops at local colleges and universities in fly fishing and art, and his slide presentation programs are popular with fly fishing clubs and conservation organizations.
