Bombers lose semifinal game to Cabot at Van Buren

The Mountain Home High School boys' basketball team had a rough outing Friday as they competed in the semifinals of the Citizens Bank Tournament at Van Buren. The Bombers lost to Cabot by a final of 54-19.

The Panthers dominated the game from start to finish. Mountain Home was held to a single point in the opening period and didn't score in double figures until the third quarter. Cabot would eventually invoke the mercy rule as they went on to post the 35-point victory.

No one was in double figures for the Bombers. Jalen Brown led the Panthers with ten points.

Mountain Home falls to 2-3 on the season, and they'll play for third place Saturday evening at 5:30.
