MHJH teams have mixed results against GCT

It was mixed results for the Mountain Home junior basketball teams as they took on Greene County Tech Monday evening at different locations.

The boy’s teams were at home where they dropped two of three games.

The lone win came in the 9th grade game where the Junior Bombers were 53-32 winners. Mountain Home led by two at the half but outscored the Junior Eagles 33-14 in the second half.
Wyatt Gilbert led the way with 19 points and Brandon Morris added 12.

Greene County Tech won the 8th grade game 51-46. Reed Ellison pumped in 19 points for Mountain Home.

Greene County Tech also won the 7th grade boy’s contest 29-23.

In Paragould, the Mountain Home junior girl’s teams also dropped two of three games. The win came in the junior girl’s game 50-47 in overtime. Kaylee Crownover led a balanced scoring attack with 15 points, Kate Gilbert had 14 and Addison Yates scored 10. The Junior Lady Bombers are 9-3 on the season.

Greene County Tech won the junior girl’s J.V. game 29-28. Haven Klinger topped the Mountain Home scoresheet with 11 points as they fall to 3-2.

Mountain Home lost the 7th grade girl’s game 28-12.
