A Marion County man, 26-year-old Steven Stuebinger of Flippin, has been charged with felony third degree domestic battering following an incident on December 1st.

According to the probable cause affidavit filed Thursday, the complainant in the case told law enforcement she was at Stuebinger’s mother’s house when the argument began.

The female said she was going to leave the residence due to Stuebinger’s yelling. She went into another room and closed the door. Stuebinger is alleged to have swung the door open, with the handle hitting the female. As she started to leave the residence, Stuebinger came after her striking her in the face and pushing her until she fell to her knees.

When Stuebinger’s mother intervened, the female was able to leave the residence and walk to the Flippin Police Department. The reported noted the female was pregnant at the time of the incident.

Stuebinger’s bond was set at $10,000.
