High school basketball makes up much of the local Tuesday schedule as two teams will be in Jonesboro for their first games in the NEA Invitational Basketball Tournament. Izard County’s girls meet Armorel at 10:30, and the Viola boys take on Bay at 3:00. Both games will be played at First National Bank Arena on the campus of Arkansas State University.
Elsewhere, Cotter travels to Alpena, Yellville-Summit makes the trip to Marshall, Gainesville’s boys head to Mountain Grove, the Dora girls host Houston, and Salem travels to Imboden to face Sloan-Hendrix.
