ASU-Mountain Home to host Camp Invention in July

The National Inventors Hall of Fame is offering local youth a chance to become inventors in the summer. Camp Invention will be held July 9th through 13th from 9:00 to 3:30 at Arkansas State University-Mountain Home.

Children in Kindergarten through sixth grades will have an opportunity to explore STEM concepts through hands-on challenges. Participants will collaborate in teams to build and design prototypes and gear up to be an innovator as they use tools to take apart simple machines.

The cost for the camp is $225, and registration will be taken online at campinvention.org or by phone at 1-800-968-4332. There is a $25 discount for anyone who signs up by March 23rd with the promo code “IDEAS25,” a $15 discount to sign up between March 24th and May 4th with the promo code “IDEAS15” and a $25 discount per sibling when two or more siblings are registered with the promo code “SIBLING.”
